Leaked Huawei P50 Cellphone With A Large Round Camera
JAKARTA – The Chinese technology giant, Huawei has launched the HarmonyOS operating system. Now the smartphone manufacturer is rumored to be launching its newest cellphone, the P50 series.
Huawei has released a teaser video for the P50 phone with a duration of 45 seconds. In the video, the P50 phone is equipped with two large camera housings behind the body.
The camera housing houses three rear cameras. Reportedly, the two camera housings have a large size because of the lens and 1-inch image sensor.
The large sensor size is usually used in premium pocket cameras such as the Sony RX100 and Canon G7X cameras. In addition, a 1-inch camera sensor has also been used for the first time in a cellphone made by Sharp.
In other words, image capture from the P50 series camera phone can be better than other smartphones which often have smaller camera sizes. The P50 phone is predicted to be equipped with an image sensor made by Sony, namely IMX800.
However, until now Huawei has not issued an official statement regarding the detailed specifications of this P50 phone.
However, the device is rumored to have a telephoto camera equipped with a periscope lens with a 5x optical zoom feature, quoted from GSM Arena, Thursday, June 3.
Huawei is most likely collaborating with a German company, Leica, in developing the P50 camera phone. The reason is that at the bottom of the two camera housings, the name Leica is still listed.
In addition, the technology giant Sharp is also rumored to have collaborated with Leica for the development of the camera in its cellphone.
In terms of design, the P50 phone does look different from other phones because of the presence of two camera housings on the back. It seems that not only that, the P50 will also use the latest operating system made by Huawei, namely HarmonyOS.
