VICTON's Han Seung Woo Is Enlisting In The Military On July 28
JAKARTA - VICTON's Han Seung Woo announced that he will soon be enlisting in the military.
On Thursday, June 3, Han Seung Woo held an Instagram Live broadcast and chatted with fans. Then he revealed that he would soon enlist in the military this summer.
"I was supposed to start this month, but I applied to the army's special division and was accepted, so I'm leaving in July," he said.
He explained that the field being registered was something he was passionate about. So before enlisting in the military, he will be releasing a new album.
"I will continue to be healthy. My condition will be better than it is now and work hard to adapt. I hope that you also stay healthy, despite the many difficulties in your life, I hope that what I have prepared can cheer you up.”
Moments later, VICTON's agency - Play M Entertainment confirmed that Han Seung Woo will be enlisting in the military starting July 26.
"Seung Woo has been accepted into the army music department and started his mandatory duty on July 26," the agency said in a statement today, June 4.
Details of the location and time of Han Seung Woo's departure will not be revealed to the public. Therefore, the agency did not hold a special event considering the pandemic was still ongoing.
Meanwhile, Han Seung Woo will be releasing a new album titled Fade on June 28. He admitted to pouring all his heart in the process of writing the album.
“I put a lot of (feelings) for the first and fifth tracks. I cried while writing the lyrics, cried while recording the guide, cried during the arrangement, and cried while monitoring the recording.”
