Successful with its first season, Bloodhounds will return with season two. Singer Rain has been confirmed as the antagonist who transforms with his new appearance. Singer IU also plays a role with Byeon Woo Seok for the drama Perfect Crown that fans are looking forward to.
Actress Kim Go Eun also returns to play Yumi in the series Yumi's Cells 3 which is adapted from a popular webtoon. This drama is also the last part of Yumi's story who is looking for her true love.
Here is the list of 9 new Korean dramas airing in April 2026 along with their synopsis: Bloodhounds 2Adapted from a web comic, Bloodhounds 2 tells the continuation of Kim Gun Woo (Woo Do Hwan) and Hong Woo Jin (Lee Sang Yi) who return to the boxing world. They have to face Baek Jung (Rain), a powerful man who manages a gambling operation close to boxing. Baek Jung lures Kim Gun Woo to bet which turns out to be an illegal circle. The series will be released on April 3 on Netflix.
Perfect CrownSet in the 21st century, Perfect Crown tells the story of Seong Hee Ju (IU), the second child of a South Korean conglomerate family. Due to an incident, Hee Ju is involved in a conflict with Prince Yian (Byeon Woo Seok), the second son of the King. They start a fake marriage that actually changes feelings for each other. Perfect Crown will air from April 10 and can be watched on Disney+.
Yumi’s Cells 3Yumi's Cells 3 is still focused on Kim Yumi (Kim Go Eun) who is now working full-time as a writer. Her life gets even more boring until she meets Shin Soon Rok (Kim Jae Won), a new producer at her office. Yumi's Cells 3 airs from April 13 and can be watched on HBO Max.
Absolute Value of RomanceAbsolute Value of Romance tells the story of Yeo Ui Ju (Kim Hyang Gi), a high school student who turns out to be a romance novel writer. His romance novel uses four men as the main characters. One day, he realizes that the four main characters are his high school teachers, namely Ga Wu Su (Cha Hak Yeon), No Da Ju (Kim Jae Hyun), Jung Gi Jeon (Sohn Jeong Hyuck), and Yun Dong Ju (Kim Dong Kyu). Absolute Value of Romance will air starting April 17 and can be watched on Prime Video.
We Are All Trying HereThe drama We Are All Trying Here tells the story of Hwang Dong Man (Koo Kyo Hwan) who feels his life is in vain because he has not made his first film. Byeon Eun A (Go Youn Jung), a film producer who tries to hide her fear. The drama is also played by Oh Jung Se and Kang Mal Geum and airs starting April 18 on Netflix.
The ScarecrowActor Park Hae Soo acted in the drama The Scarecrow which tells the story of a detective who moved to Gangseong to investigate a murder case in order to restore his good name.
