Xiaomi Dominates the Indonesian Gadget Market, Reaches 36 Percent by 2025

JAKARTA - Xiaomi Indonesia has successfully become a leader in the smartphone, tablet, and wearable band markets in Indonesia throughout 2025 based on a report from the Omdia research institute.

Omdia's report shows that Xiaomi was able to record significant growth in the domestic tablet market. Xiaomi managed to become the number 1 tablet brand in Indonesia in 2025 with a market share of 36%, up 75% year-on-year (yoy).

This achievement reflects the increasing interest of consumers in tablets that are able to support various activities in one practical device.

In addition, Omodia's notes also show Xiaomi's dominance in the wearable band market in Indonesia and in the world. Xiaomi managed to become the number 1 wearable band brand in Indonesia in 2025 with a market share of 30%, up 3% yoy.

Xiaomi was able to become the world's number 1 wearable band brand with a market share of 18%, up 6% yoy. Overall, Xiaomi recorded shipments of more than 200 million wearable bands worldwide throughout 2025.

From the smartphone line, Omdia found that Xiaomi was able to become the number 1 smartphone brand in Indonesia by 2025 with a market share of 19% amid slowing smartphone sales in the country.

This achievement is inseparable from the adaptive product portfolio across all consumer segments. Xiaomi is also strengthening its position in the premium class by introducing a flagship smartphone line that offers the ultimate experience.

This innovation is reflected in the world-class camera technology resulting from collaboration with Leica as well as Xiaomi HyperAI's increasingly intuitive capabilities in unifying all functions on Xiaomi HyperOS.
