Prabowo Visits a Slums in Senen Jakarta, Prepares Housing Solutions
Wearing a blue shirt and a cream hat, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto was excited to walk through the Senen area, Central Jakarta, Thursday, March 26 afternoon. Accompanied by a number of aides, Prabowo walked through the residential area of residents standing near the railway embankment.
"This afternoon, I walked along the settlement on the railway embankment in the Senen area, Central Jakarta," wrote the post on the @prabowo Instagram account.
The very dense and unfit housing is only three kilometers from the center of Jakarta. Prabowo seemed serious about listening to the residents' stories. At another moment, Prabowo was also not awkward to pat the shoulders of the residents who embraced him.
Prabowo also walked along the railway tracks. At the same time, the train passed. At that time, Prabowo was surrounded by mothers who asked for a handshake.
The public also asked Prabowo to step off the track he was stepping on because the train from the opposite direction would also come. "Sir, the train," the residents greeted while inviting Prabowo to step off.
"Hearing the aspirations of the people there, Inshallah we will immediately build decent housing for the people in the area quickly. And it has become my determination to provide decent housing for the Indonesian people," continued Prabowo.
