Lebanon Records 1,110 Dead Due to Israeli Attacks, 136,262 Displaced

JAKARTA - More than 1,110 people have died in Lebanon as a result of the ongoing Israeli air raids and ground invasion as of Thursday, March 26 local time.

Citing Al Jazeera, the wave of attacks also displaced another 136,000 people.

Lebanon's Disaster Risk Management Unit reported "the total number of refugees in shelters reached 136,262 and the total number of refugee families reached 34,973".

The Lebanese National News Agency quoted the unit's statement as saying "the number of deaths continues to rise to 1,116 and the number of injured to 3,229".

Israel increased its aggression against Lebanon starting in early March 2026.

Since then, waves of Israeli airstrikes have continued to bombard Lebanese territory, which have killed and injured many civilians.
