Arus Balik Membludak, Tol Cipali KM 169-162 Berlakukan Contraflow

Arus balik kendaraan pemudik di Tol Cikopo-Palimanan (Cipali) hingga Kamis malam, 26 Maret 2026, masih mengalami perlambatan di KM 169-162 arah Jakarta.

The police together with Astra Tol Cipali implemented the traffic engineering to disperse vehicle density.

In the field, the slowdown was triggered by the high number of vehicles that stopped on the shoulder of the road, both due to engine failure and driver fatigue after a long journey from the east.

Ardam said that in general, the traffic flow on the Cipali Toll Road was observed to be busy and smooth.

"Until Thursday afternoon, overall traffic flow on the Cipali Toll Road was observed to be busy and smooth with several density points around KM 188, KM 175 and KM 164," he said.

During the contraflow, road users are urged to prioritize safety by complying with the instructions of officers and traffic signs.

Based on data for the period from 00.00 to 17.00 WIB, around 48,000 vehicles were recorded passing from Cirebon to Jakarta.

The number was down 37 percent compared to the same period the day before, with an average volume of 2,800 vehicles per hour.

Meanwhile, as many as 16,000 vehicles crossed the former Cikopo Toll Gate (GT) towards Cirebon.

"Cumulatively, the afternoon traffic volume was observed to be 5 percent lower than the previous day," he said.
