JAKARTA - Deputy Trade Minister Dyah Roro Esti appeared special at the welcome dinner during the 32nd ASEAN Economic Ministers Meeting (AEM) series with a duet with international singer Christian Bautista.

On that occasion, Roro sang the song The Way You Look at Me, which was greeted enthusiastically by the delegation and invited guests from various ASEAN countries.

This appearance presents a warm and familiar atmosphere in the midst of the official agenda of the meeting, as well as a moment to strengthen relations between countries in the midst of regional trade and investment agendas.

"This is a very memorable and enjoyable moment. Through music, we can strengthen relationships and create a sense of togetherness among the delegates," said Roro in his statement, Thursday, March 26.

He emphasized that informal interactions like this are important to encourage ASEAN economic collaboration in the midst of global challenges and strengthen cooperation among ASEAN countries.

"This spirit of togetherness is expected to continue to be maintained in our efforts to encourage regional economic collaboration," he said.

The 32nd AEM series of activities is a strategic forum for ASEAN economic ministers to strengthen trade and investment cooperation, as well as respond to various global economic dynamics and challenges.
