Kardigan Ryan Gosling's Fox Motif in Project Hail Mary Viral Film

JAKARTA - Ryan Gosling is stealing the spotlight thanks to his appearance in the film Project Hail Mary. In the film, Ryan Gosling plays Ryland Grace, and many have highlighted the clothes he wears.

Many Project Hail Mary viewers highlighted Ryan Gosling's fox-motif cardigan, and made memes on social media. Some film critics also commented on the cardigan.

"What price do you want for Ryan Gosling's cardigan in Project Hail Mary? I want it as much as I do," said film writer and critic, Tomris Laffly on his X account.

"As a Canadian, I immediately noted Ryan Gosling's fox sweater as a vintage Mary Maxim, so it's fun to write about the meaning and history of that cardigan," said Globe and Mail writer Nathalie Atkinson.

Meanwhile, the character of Ryland Grace, played by Ryan Gosling in the film Project Hail Mary, is told as a school teacher who wakes up from a coma with amnesia on a spaceship.

Ryland must remember his mission to save the earth from the threat of a dimming sun, aided by his unexpected friendship with an alien.

"If you look at Ryland Grace's wardrobe, it's a combination of these specific things. Ryan with his experience with foxes, and he wanted to have a cardigan that had a fox on it," said Project Hail Mary director Chris Miller.
