A Series of the Latest AI and Security Innovations for PC HP at HP Imagine 2026
HP Inc. introduced a series of devices based on artificial intelligence (AI), security innovations, and intelligent workflow solutions at the HP Imagine 2026 event held to support business and individual productivity in the modern working era.
"In the future, the future of the world of work is about simplifying work in an increasingly complex world. At HP, we are focused on using AI to create a more connected experience," said Bruce Broussard, Interim Chief Executive Officer, HP Inc.
HP revealed that only 20% of global workers have healthy work relationships, while 22% experience technology disruptions every month.
Seeing this fact, the company claims that the implementation of AI-based devices is said to be able to increase productivity by up to 16% and significantly improve the work experience.
To answer this challenge, HP launched HP IQ, an artificial intelligence platform that combines local AI on devices with proximity-based connectivity and enterprise management.
This technology debuted in the HP EliteBook X G2 AI PC laptop, with initial features such as Ask IQ or contextual assistant, Analyze to analyze documents, Notes and Knowledge for automatic recording, and Meeting Agent to create real-time meeting notes.
HP also introduced HP NearSense, a technology that allows devices to automatically connect to share files and join meetings with just one click, to support seamless collaboration.
In the future, HP plans to expand NearSense capabilities to the entire HP ecosystem, including HP Poly video conference solutions, printers, desktops, workstations, peripherals, and more.
On the device side, HP presents the EliteBook 6 G2q AI PC with a Snapdragon X2 processor and local AI processing capabilities of up to 85 TOPS, as well as 5G connectivity support and layered security through HP Wolf Security.
In terms of security, HP released HP TPM Guard to protect devices from physical attacks as well as introducing quantum-resistant protection.
In addition, HP launched the latest LaserJet printer with AI features and high security, Z-series workstations for heavy AI workloads, as well as updates to the AI-based device management platform to support more proactive IT operations.
