Remembering A Lord Bendtner's Wild Career Off The Field: Hire Prostitutes, Change Partners
JAKARTA - Nicklas Bendtner decided to hang up his shoes at the age of only 33 years. The decision was revealed by Lord Bendtner on Thursday.
The former Arsenal player is known to have had a wild career off the pitch, which involved sex work and blackmail. On the other hand, his actions on the field failed.

In his biography, published last year, Both Sides, Bentdner talks about many extremes. One is how common the use of sex workers is among his teammates.
He claims hiring prostitutes is much safer than bringing home women, whom he calls 'gold diggers'.
"It's (prostitutes) less risky than picking up girls when they're out of town," Bendtner said.
"And if you are prone to infidelity - I've read that this applies to 46 per cent of Danes - you hardly dare to do that with 'civilians' anymore.
"Not when you become a famous footballer. I know about many incidents involving prostitutes. But I know a lot of stories about blackmail through social media."
What Bendtner meant was a 'gold digger' from the nightlife who was ready to make love and then took photos of his clients sleeping.
"With those photos as their trump card, they will blackmail us into keeping their mouths shut," Bendtner said.

“One of the girls I was with came back and claimed that I had gotten her pregnant,” Bendtner says in the book.

"'And what does that mean?' ask me.
"That means you have to pay for a new pair of boobs for me. I want my butt fixed," she said.
"So I ended up paying her cosmetic surgeon fees."

"I was above the apartment, and I could hear him screaming and screaming, but I didn't come out.
"There's nothing to talk about. He's angry that I don't want to continue seeing him.
"On the third night, a girl checked my phone while I was sleeping. I think she knew I had several other girls besides her."
The next morning, Bendtner continued, the girl left. So were his clothes that were thrown out the window and lying on the path.

It was in Birmingham that he first met Bruce's daughter - Amy - at a charity event. After he received a number of bets from his teammates, he approached Amy.
"Suddenly, I was betting £1,000 on the likes of McSheffrey, Clemence and Johnson, who was our captain," Bendtner recalled to Politiken.
Luckily for Bendtner, Bruce was attracted to him, and they began to meet soon after.
The Denmark international later claimed he had forgotten the bet, and even felt guilty when he accepted his win: "Contrary to the plan, I made a bet and fell in love with Amy."
Lord Bendtner never really put his best on the field. Whether at Arsenal, Juventus or Wolfsburg or towards the end of his career at Rosenborg and Copenhagen.
However, in the Danish national team, his record is quite good. He bagged 81 caps for the Danish Dynamite and scored 30 goals.
