DKI Provincial Government Emphasizes that the Viral Plate B Car is Not a Government Vehicle
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) has denied the existence of a B-plated service vehicle used during the Lebaran homecoming, as information circulating on social media (medsos) recently.
"Regarding the report, the vehicle in question does not belong to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, but to another agency. Regarding the policy on the use of official vehicles, it is the authority of each agency," said Head of the DKI Jakarta Regional Asset Management Agency (BPAD) Faisal Syafruddin in a statement. Thursday, March 26.
He also said his staff had conducted a search through the vehicle administration system on Wednesday, March 25. Based on the results of checking through the e-KDO application, the vehicle with the reported characteristics was confirmed not to belong to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.
Syafruddin emphasized that the DKI Provincial Government implemented strict rules regarding the use of operational service vehicles (KDO) in all regional devices during the Lebaran holiday.
Meanwhile, DKI Jakarta Provincial Inspector Dhany Sukma emphasized that he was ready to take action against state civil servants (ASN) in the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government environment who use official vehicles during the Lebaran holiday period.
He revealed that supervision was carried out through the mechanism of summoning and clarifying the parties concerned based on the reports received, including tracking vehicle plate numbers by the internal team.
"If it is proven that there has been a violation, sanctions will be given according to the applicable provisions," said Dhany.
Regarding sanctions, referring to DKI Jakarta Governor Regulation (Pergub) Number 8 of 2024 concerning Discipline of Civil Servants as well as Governor Regulation Number 27 of 2022 concerning Amendment to Governor Regulation Number 119 of 2020 concerning the Management of Government Vehicles, namely starting from moral reprimands to additional cuts in employee income (TPP).
In addition, other legal bases, namely Government Regulation (PP) Number 94 of 2021 concerning the Discipline of Civil Servants and the State Civil Service Regulation Number 6 of 2022 concerning the Implementation Regulation of Government Regulation Number 94 of 2021.
The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has also previously conducted an audit of all regional devices to ensure that government vehicles are parked during the Lebaran holiday and are in the designated locations.
