As many as 38 of the 52 Disaster-Affected Regency Cities in Sumatra have returned to normal.
Jakarta - Head of the Task Force for Acceleration of Rehabilitation and Reconstruction (PRR) Tito Karnavian said that 38 of the 52 regencies/cities affected by flash floods and landslides in three provinces, namely Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra, are now in a post-disaster normal status.
Thus, about 73 percent of the affected areas have recovered and resumed functional community activities. This was conveyed by Tito Karnavian at a press conference held on Wednesday, March 25.
In this case, the Ministry of Home Affairs uses five variables to measure the normalization of an affected area after a disaster, namely the smooth implementation of government administration, normal public services, access to roads that can be used by the community, the economic activity of the community, and places of worship that can be properly functioned.
