Sienna Suddenly Opens Hijab, Marshanda: It's Outside My Influence and Power

JAKARTA - Actress Marshanda is once again in the public spotlight with her latest post on social media.

Through her personal Instagram account (@marshanda99), the woman who is familiarly called Caca shared her wise view of parenting style and her principle in freeing her daughter, Sienna Ameerah Kasyafani, to determine her life path.

In the upload, Marshanda specifically touched on the choice of Sienna's hijab. Instead of imposing his will, Marshanda emphasized that he did not have the power to arrange the destiny of his child beyond the Creator.

"Whether Sienna's way is to wear a hijab again or not, it is beyond my influence and power. It is arrogant, if I feel entitled and can arrange Sienna's destiny more than Allah SWT can do it," wrote Marshanda, quoted by VOI, Thursday, March 26.

Furthermore, the star of the Bidadari soap opera explained her true duty as a mother. For her, the obligation of parents is not to dictate, but to be the best version of yourself so that children can grow "healthily".

He also did not want the princess to make decisions in life just to please her father and mother.

"As a parent, don't let my daughter Sienna take the path of life just to please her mother or father. When she grows up, my prayer is that Sienna will live to know her true self," said Ben Kasyafani's ex-wife.

"So that it can inspire others to live in harmony. What is shown is in line with what is in the heart," he added.

Marshanda is very aware that the process of finding her child's identity is still very long. He said the current phase is only one of hundreds of thousands of other steps in Sienna's life. As a mother, she chose to fully respect the process.

"I embrace, celebrate, and love my daughter with all her colors," she said in English.

At the end of her writing, the 34-year-old actress gave a subtle sentiment regarding the importance of respecting human rights and avoiding judgmental attitudes. According to her, a truly religious person will not have a tendency to blame others' choices.

"And, in fact, the truly religious and practicing the teachings of religion in their blood and soul, are the ones who only smile at this post without wanting to point out 'you are wrong' or 'this is more correct', etc.," explained Marshanda.

He closed his message full of tolerance with a quote, "If based on the book, there is a teaching, right? Your religion, your religion, my religion, my religion."
