There is a 30 Percent Toll Rate Discount, Travelers are Urged to Return to Jabodetabek 26-27 March

JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk invites travelers to return to the Jabodetabek area during the period of March 26-27, 2026 to reduce vehicle congestion.

Jasa Marga President Director Rivan A Purwantono said that in order to support the smooth flow of traffic, his party again imposed a 30 percent discount on the toll rate during that period.

"Take advantage of the 30 percent toll rate discount program on March 26-27, 2026 on nine toll roads of the Jasa Marga Group with a continuous travel scheme. This policy is expected to encourage more even traffic distribution while reducing the potential for congestion," said Rivan as quoted from a written statement, Wednesday, March 25.

For this reason, said Rivan, for road users who have flexibility in time, they can shift their trips back to Jabodetabek in line with the period of implementation of work from anywhere (WFA) on Wednesday-Friday (25-27 March 2026) to avoid potential congestion during the peak of the return flow.

Previously, the company noted that as many as 1,702,500 vehicles had returned to the Jabotabek area during the period of H-10 to H+2 Lebaran 2026 or from March 11 to March 23, 2026.

Rivan explained that the figure is the accumulation of traffic flow (lalin) from four main toll gates (GT), namely the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (from the Trans Java direction), the Kalihurip Utama Toll Gate (from the Bandung direction), the Cikupa Toll Gate (from the Merak direction) and the Ciawi Toll Gate (from the Puncak direction).

"Vehicle traffic flow is expected to continue to increase, especially during the peak period of the return flow on March 24, 28 and 29, 2026," he said.

He detailed that the distribution of traffic was dominated by the east (Trans Java and Bandung) with 696,748 vehicles or 40.9 percent.

Meanwhile, from the west (Merak) contributed 568,159 vehicles (33.4 percent) and the south (Puncak) reached 437,593 vehicles (25.7 percent).

Then, the traffic from Trans Java via GT Cikampek Utama was recorded at 309,156 vehicles, its position was 15.2 percent lower than the normal traffic.

Meanwhile, from Bandung through the Kalihurip Utama GT, 387,592 vehicles were reached, 7.1 percent lower than normal traffic.

The former President Director of Jasa Raharja emphasized that, especially during the period of Monday, March 23, the volume of vehicles returning to Jabotabek reached 225,293 units, jumping 73.7 percent from the normal line of 129,695 vehicles.

The sharpest spike occurred in GT Cikampek Utama which increased by 197.7 percent with a total of 75,837 vehicles.
