Debut June 2026, Aistaland GT7 Offers Advanced Technology and Design ala Porsche Panamera

JAKARTA - Huawei and GAC collaboration are ready to enliven the Chinese automotive market by presenting a new model called Aistaland GT7. This electric car is scheduled to launch in June 2026, carrying advanced technology such as 896-lane LiDAR, a two-motor electric system, and active suspension.

Launching Carnewschina, Wednesday, March 25, Aistaland itself is a brand of cooperation between Huawei and GAC, a state-owned automotive manufacturer based in Guangzhou. The name Aistaland is said to come from the phrase "AI Start New Land", while in the domestic market this car is known as Qijing or Venue.

The brand is led by Liu Jiaming, an experienced figure who has spent 25 years in GAC Toyota and GAC Group. The first Aistaland model was officially introduced in China on March 17.

A week later, the company's CEO revealed the estimated time of launch of GT7. Liu Jiaming said that the car had completed real-world testing in Turpan and Hailar with temperatures ranging from -35 to 46 degrees Celsius.

In terms of dimensions, the Aistaland GT7 is classified as large with a length of 5,050 mm, a width of 1,980 mm, a height of 1,470 mm, and a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. In terms of size, this car is even 95 mm longer than the European variant of the Zeekr 001 from Geely. The front view at first glance reminds of the Porsche Panamera, especially from the design of the main lights. Meanwhile, other elements such as semi-hidden door handles, grooved side mirrors, to the elongated taillights strengthen the modern impression.

In the technology sector, the GT7 relies on an 800V high-voltage system, active suspension, and a HarmonyOS-based digital cockpit. Other flagship features are Huawei's Xpixel headlights that are capable of projecting safety warnings and navigation guidance directly onto the road.

In addition, GT7 is equipped with an 896-line LiDAR which is claimed to be able to detect small objects as high as 14 cm from a distance of 122 meters at night. Although the details of its drive system have not been fully revealed, GT7 is confirmed to be a pure electric vehicle (BEV) with a two-motor configuration. For the Chinese market, this car is estimated to be priced around 300,000 yuan and will be a direct rival to Zeekr 001.
