"Despite having vaccinated with disabilities and 916 people with ODGJ last Thursday, this vaccination will continue to this day," said Head of the Surabaya City Health Office (Dinkes), Febria Rachmanita, Friday, June 4.

Febria said that vaccination for people with disabilities and ODGJ had not yet reached the total target of 9,065 people. The details are 5,394 people with disabilities and 3,671 ODGJ. This means that there are still 8,149 people who have not been injected with the vaccine.

According to Febria, vaccinations for people with disabilities are carried out at the nearest puskesmas, according to their respective regions. Meanwhile, specifically for ODGJ patients, puskesmas officers visit the patient's location in the Pondok Social Environment (Liponsos) to give the vaccine. Therefore, Febria asked for cooperation and support for all participants of this phase III vaccine. He hoped they would not refuse and delay the implementation of this vaccination. This is because the vaccine is important so that people have antibodies so they are not easily exposed to COVID-19.
