Football Season Ends, Messi Invests In Luxury Hotels In Andorra
JAKARTA - When the football season ended, Lionel Messi made a deal in the hotel world.
The Argentine star and his hotel group MIM Hotels - which he owns since 2017 - bought a new luxury hotel.
The fifth hotel, called Casa Canut, is located in Andorra in the famous Carlemany de Escaldes-Engordany.
Casa Canut offers 31 luxurious rooms.
According to Diari D'Andorra, Messi intends to return to making the hotel one of the best in the country.
The hotel previously suffered heavy losses when the tourism sector was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Andorra was chosen not only for its proximity to Barcelona, but also for the fact that the small country attracts thousands of tourists who flock to the ski slopes during the winter.
