Jakarta-bound Contraflow Implemented on Cikampek Toll Road

JAKARTA - PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol together with the police force imposed contraflow traffic engineering on the Lebaran return lane from KM 70 to KM 36 towards Jakarta, the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road.

Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal PT Jasamarga Transjawa TolRia Marlinda Paallomeny menyampaikan contraflow (pengaturan lalu lintas yang mengubah arah normal arus kendaraan) diterapkan atas diskresi pihak kepolisian.

Traffic engineering is applied to support the smooth flow of traffic during the 1447 Hijriah Eid al-Fitr return period and support the implementation of local one-way traffic engineering.

The first time the traffic flow was imposed from KM 70 to KM 36 towards Jakarta, the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road at 18.19 WIB.

According to him, the implementation of traffic engineering is a joint effort to maintain the smooth flow of vehicles during the Lebaran return period.

"This traffic engineering is implemented on a situational basis at the discretion of the police considering the traffic conditions on the ground," he said.

During the Lebaran homecoming season, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol together with the police continue to monitor to ensure the smoothness and safety of road users.

PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol appeals to all Trans Java toll road users to prioritize safety, plan the travel time well, and ensure that vehicles are in good condition and roadworthy.

In addition, road users are expected to ensure the adequacy of fuel, electronic money balance, and the physical condition of the driver before traveling.
