Officers Apply to Open-Close Rest Area KM 52B Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road

JAKARTA - PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) officers together with the police carried out a system of opening and closing for the rest area KM 52B towards Jakarta, the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road.

Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, said the open-close system was applied on a situational basis.

This is done to anticipate the density of vehicles entering the rest area and to maintain the smooth flow of traffic on the main toll road.

He said that the access arrangement for the KM 52B area of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road was carried out based on the traffic conditions on the ground and coordination with the Police.

"So to maintain the smooth flow of traffic on the main roads and to avoid queues of vehicles entering the rest area, the system of opening and closing the KM 52B rest area in the direction of Jakarta is currently being implemented on a situational basis," he said as reported by ANTARA, Monday, March 23.

Jasamarga also appealed to toll road users to be able to prepare their journey well, including arranging the time and location to rest before entering the toll road.

Along with the implementation of the KM 52B rest area opening-closing system, road users are urged to utilize the rest area if the KM 52B rest area is temporarily closed.

Toll road users are expected to always ensure that the condition of the vehicle and the driver is in good condition before traveling, maintain a safe distance, comply with traffic signs and instructions from officers in the field, and ensure the adequacy of electronic money balances.
