Central Java Police Chief Warns Travelers to Be Alert During the Reverse Flow Journey

JAKARTA - Central Java Police Chief Inspector General Ribut Hari Wibowo appealed to the public to remain vigilant during the 2026 Eid homecoming and return trip.

"People who travel to their hometowns or return to their home areas are asked to remain vigilant for the sake of mutual safety," he said when reviewing the Idul Fitri Security Integrated Post at Simpang Tujuh Square, Kudus, Monday, March 23, reported by ANTARA.

The police, he continued, will also optimize various digital services to support the smooth flow of homecoming and return.

"We will maximize the SIPOLAN chatbot service so that people's homecoming journey is safe, comfortable, and safe to their destination," he said.

The review is expected to strengthen the synergy between the local government and the security apparatus in maintaining the situation in the region to remain conducive, while ensuring that the community can live the Lebaran momentum safely and comfortably.

In this activity, the Kudus Regent Sam'ani Intakoris together with the Kudus Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) also accompanied the Police Chief.

The entourage also took the time to greet the travelers and directly monitor the situation on the ground.

Kudus Regent Sam'ani Intakoris conveyed that the current condition of the Kudus Regency area is safe and under control.

He emphasized the importance of maintaining regional stability, especially in the post-Eid economic aspect. According to him, a proper strategy is needed to prevent inflation.

"The emphasis is on stability, especially after Lebaran, how we prepare strategies to prevent inflation," he said.

In addition, the Regent also paid attention to the economic activities of the community, especially informal sector business actors.

He stated that the local government provided space for street vendors (PKL) to continue to be active, while still paying attention to cleanliness and order.

"We give flexibility to informal sector business actors, PKL friends, but we must still pay attention to cleanliness and waste management, as well as maintaining the situation of the region to be conducive, the environment and public order," he said.

According to him, the good economic condition of the community will have a direct impact on the overall stability of the region.
