Antisipasi Lonjakan, Pertamina Tambah 23 Juta Tabung LPG 3 Kg
JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga will increase the distribution of 3 kg LPG nationwide by more than 23 million cylinders in March 2026 in order to maintain availability during the 2026 Lebaran momentum.
Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary Roberth MV Dumatubun said this addition was made as a precautionary measure against a surge in energy demand, especially for the household and micro-business segments.
"This optional addition is part of Pertamina Patra Niaga's strategy to maintain national energy supply resilience amid the increasing consumption of LPG that occurs at the momentum of religious holidays," said Roberth, quoted by Antara, Sunday, March 22.
Roberth emphasized that the company is fully committed to ensuring that the energy needs of the community are optimally met throughout Indonesia.
"We ensure the addition of 3 kg LPG supplies to serve the needs of the community, especially households and micro-business actors, so that they can continue to carry out their activities comfortably during the long holiday from Ramadan to Eid al-Fitr," he said.
Pertamina Patra Niaga also continues to strengthen distribution and supervision in the field so that the distribution of subsidized LPG can be targeted.
In addition, as many as 6,300 standby LPG agents operate on holidays to ensure that the public gets LPG for cooking.
Roberth appealed to the public to buy LPG 3 kg according to its allocation and make purchases at official bases to get prices in accordance with government regulations.
For people who use non-subsidized LPG, added Roberth, Pertamina Patra Niaga presents various interesting promos for Bright Gas products.
One of the flagship promos is the program to exchange two 3 kg LPG cylinders with one Bright Gas 5.5 kg cylinder for free during the promo period.
In addition, customers also have the opportunity to get a discount of up to Rp. 25,000 for recharging Bright Gas 5.5 kg by using the MyPertamina application.
"Pertamina Patra Niaga will continue to monitor distribution in the field and coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure that the availability and smooth distribution of LPG is maintained during this long holiday period," said Roberth.
