Disaster Survivors in West Aceh will Live in Huntara Usai Lebaran
MEULABOH - The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of West Aceh Regency ensured that six families (KK) survivors of flash floods in Lawet Village, Pante Ceureumensepakat District, would agree to occupy temporary housing after Eid al-Fitr.
"Since the current situation is Eid al-Fitr, the public agreed that they would only occupy the huntara after the Lebaran holiday period was over," said Acting Head of the West Aceh Regency BPBD, Teuku Ronald Nehdiansyah, as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, March 21.
Teuku Ronald said the survivors of the disaster had a reason to occupy the huntara in the condition that Eid al-Fitr had not yet been possible because they still wanted to celebrate Lebaran with their relatives.
In addition, they also reasoned that the momentum of Eid al-Fitr was used for silaturahim, before occupying the huntara which had been completed by BNPB.
Currently, the construction of 12 huntarayang units spread across Lawet Village and Jambak Village, Pante Ceureumen District, West Aceh has been completed in accordance with the specified time limit.
"If the proposal is complete, we just have to complete the contents of the huntaranya," he said.
Previously on Tuesday (10/2) a total of six other KKs had occupied the huntara in Jambak Village, Pante Ceureumen District, West Aceh Regency.
