Ojol Drivers Can Enjoy the Parade at the Palace
JAKARTA - The assistance of a grocery package from President Prabowo Subianto during the Idul Fitri griya (open house) at the Negaradis Palace was enthusiastically welcomed by the public, including online motorcycle taxi drivers or online (ojol).
Reported by ANTARA from the Government Communication Agency (Bakom), the driver named Sukma admitted that he had received information about the distribution of basic necessities at the State Palace from his fellow ojol colleagues before finally coming directly because he wanted to visit and hoped to get basic necessities.
"There are participants who have received it first, standby at Djuanda Station. There is news that the President has distributed basic necessities," he said during an open house at the State Palace, Saturday, March 21.
Sukma also expressed his pleasure and gratitude for being given the opportunity to visit the Palace and receive food aid.
"Happy, happy, it's hard to express. What is certain is proud," he said.
Not only that, Sukma also admitted that he was proud to have the opportunity to enter the Palace. "Proud, as citizens, proud. It's been almost 60 years, the first time I've entered the Presidential Palace," he said.
The same thing was expressed by Abel, another visitor who attended the open house today. He admitted that he was invited to the Palace to attend the open house and take food.
As a driver of ojol, Sukma and Abel also conveyed their hopes for Indonesia in the future. "So that it is better (Indonesia), everything is easier, the price can be affordable," said Sukma.
Abel also hopes that his life with his fellow driver colleagues will get better. "Hopefully in the future it will be better, especially for us drivers," said Abel.
Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto held an open house for Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah today. The number of people who attended is estimated to have reached 5 thousand people.
The government does not impose strict restrictions on these activities, but rather provides the widest possible opportunity for the public to attend voluntarily.
