Open House at the Palace, Residents are Happy and Happy to Meet the President

JAKARTA - The middle page of the Presidential Palace in Jakarta was filled with smiles and tears when President Prabowo Subianto held an open house or a griyaIdul Fitri title for 1447 Hijriah.

For thousands of people who attended, the moment was not just a Lebaran gathering, but a rare experience that would last a lifetime.

Since morning, people from various backgrounds have crowded the Palace area. Reza, one of the residents, admitted that he had been waiting for this moment for a long time and expressed his desire to be present inspired by the implementation of the title of griya in previous years.

"I look back at previous years where the State Palace always opens open house. So, this year I try to open the Istana house," said Reza as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, March 21.

On the other hand, happiness emanates from Nina who accompanies her brother, Samuel, a disabled person. They came with one simple hope, namely to meet Prabowo directly.

"I'm very happy, indeed the intention to come here for Eid, especially my brother who I represent, is disabled. It is also very happy that we both took the vehicle, the busway, we have one goal to come to meet the best President Prabowo Subianto," said Nina.

Happiness was also seen from Ayu, a child who came with her parents. He expressed his happiness to be able to meet, shake hands, and even receive a gift in the form of toys from President Prabowo.

"It's really nice, happy. It's really nice to be able to meet, get toys," said Ayu.

Thalia and Marco also felt the same happiness who had long been waiting for this moment. Both of them also conveyed their hopes and prayers for President Prabowo.

"What is certain is that we are very happy, because we often see it on television and mobile phones. Well, now we can meet in person, we are very happy. Moreover, we can greet directly to Mr. Prabowo. Hopefully Mr. Prabowo will always be healthy and always successful in advancing Indonesia," said Thalia.

The Idul Fitri open house at the Presidential Palace this year is not only a gathering event, but also presents a warm meeting room between leaders and their people.
