This is the Indonesian National Team Squad for the 2026 FIFA Series Tournament
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) announced the Indonesian national team squad for the 2026 FIFA Series match, Saturday.
The total national team under coach John Herdman is filled with 24 players, consisting of four goalkeepers, nine defenders, five midfielders, and six forwards.
This number of 24 players is already a streamlining of the temporary squad which previously contained 41 players.
From the previous squad, Herdman has cut out several players. For the goalkeeper sector, he cut out Persebaya Surabaya goalkeeper, Ernando Ari.
Meanwhile, in the defense sector, Herdman this time did not call Muhammad Ferarri, Fajar Fathurrahman, and Yance Sayuri.
For the midfield line, Herdman did not include Marc Klok, Ricky Kambuaya, Witan Sulaeman, Egy Maulana Vikri, Tim Geypens, Ezra Walian, and Victor Dethan.
In the attack line, he no longer called Milliano Jonathans, Adrian Wibowo, Hokky Caraka, Jens Raven, and Stefano Lilipaly.
Persija is still the largest contributor with a total of four players. The other club that followed Persija was Persib Bandung with two players.
The rest is divided equally with each other club contributing one player.
Indonesia as the host of the FIFA Series match will play the first match against Saint Kitts and Nevis on March 27 at 20.00 WIB.
On the same day, the Bulgarian national team will face the Solomon Islands at 15.30 WIB.
