Reverse Flow is Expected to Peak on March 24, One Way National is Prepared

JAKARTA - The National Police Traffic Corps (Korlantas) predicts that the peak of the Lebaran return flow will occur on March 24, 2026. A one-way traffic engineering scheme or national one-way is also prepared to disperse traffic density on the Trans Java Toll Road.

"On March 24 (March), when the prediction of the homecoming flow based on traffic counting at the Kalikangkung Toll Gate, we will carry out a one-way national return flow," said the National Police Deputy Chief Inspector General Pol Agus Suryonugroho at the Kilometer 29 Toll Cikampek Command Center, West Java, Friday, March 20.

He explained that if the vehicle volume increased on March 24, then it would be one-way for a while, starting from kilometer 414 of the Kalikangkung Toll Road, Semarang, Central Java.

"It is likely that we will do one way for the first phase from Km 414 to the Pejagan Toll," said Agus, quoted by Antara.

However, if the vehicle volume is still high, then this traffic engineering will be extended to Km 70 of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road.

The peak of the 2026 Lebaran or Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah homecoming is predicted to take place on March 24, 2026.

Director General of Land Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) Aan Suhanan appealed to the public to adjust the time to return home with the work from anywhere (WFA) policy implemented by the government.

"Please come back on March 25, 26, 27 to 29 so that this peak flow can be spread out every day," he said.

This arrangement is aimed at providing smoothness and comfort for all people who will return to their respective homes.
