PT Jasamarga Jalanlayang Cikampek (PT JJC) recorded that as many as 56,963 vehicles passed through the MBZ Flyover until H-2 Lebaran or Thursday, March 19, 2026.

Of this number, the vehicles leaving Jakarta were recorded as 36,613 vehicles, up 55.22 percent compared to normal traffic of 23,588 vehicles.

"This increase shows that the homecoming movement is still continuing, with a significant increase occurring in the evening," said GM Operations and Maintenance of PT Jasamarga Jalanlayang Cikampek Desti Anggraeni in a written statement, Friday, March 20.

Meanwhile, vehicles heading to Jakarta were recorded as 20,350 vehicles, down 6.78 percent compared to normal traffic of 21,830 vehicles. This shows that traffic flow is beginning to be dominated by vehicles leaving Jakarta.

Overall, Desti said, the increase in vehicle volume on H-2 Lebaran reflects the high mobility of the community in making the homecoming trip.

"Despite the increase, the traffic conditions on the MBZ flyover are still monitored smoothly and under control with the support of intensive traffic monitoring and the readiness of officers in the field," he said.

To support the smooth and safe journey, road users are urged to always prioritize safety when crossing the MBZ flyover.

Road users are also expected to ensure that the condition of the driver and vehicle is in good condition, maintain the adequacy of electricity and fuel (BBM) and anticipate potential changes in weather, so as to support the smooth journey to the destination.
