47 Police Officers Promoted, Deputy KPK Asep Guntur Becomes Inspector General
JAKARTA - The National Police held a 47-rank promotion ceremony for the National Police Senior Officers (Pati) at the National Police Headquarters in Rupatama on Thursday, March 19.
Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Johnny Eddizon Isir, said this was a form of institutional appreciation for the dedication, performance, and service of senior officers.
"This promotion is not only a form of appreciation, but also a greater trust and responsibility to continue to improve professionalism, integrity, and service to the community," Johnny said in a written statement, Friday, March 20.
Of the 47 police officers who received a promotion, one of them rose to three stars or Commissioner General (Komjen). Namely, Komjen Achmad Kartiko who is currently serving as the Head of the Police Training Center.
Then, 14 personnel rose to the rank of two stars or Inspector General (Irjen). Among them are Irjen Alfred Papare who is the West Papua Police Chief, Irjen Moffan Moedji Kawanti as the Auditor of the Main Police Tk. I Itwasum Polri to Irjen Asep Guntur Rahayu who is now serving as Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK.
Furthermore, there are 32 personnel who have risen to the rank of one star or the rank of Brigadier General (Brigjen) who occupy various strategic positions, both at the level of the National Police Headquarters and in the region. Including the Central Papua Police Chief Brigadier General Jermias Rontini and the Papua Police Chief Brigadier General Muhajir.
Finally, two personnel received extraordinary rank promotions (KPLB). They are Brigadier General Sambas Kurniawan and Medyanta.
The event took place with solemnity and became an important momentum in the development of careers and strengthening the Polri organization in the future.
Johnny explained that the National Police hoped that the senior officers who received a promotion could continue to make the best contribution in maintaining public security and order. These dozens of Pati are also expected to support the transformation of the National Police which is Precise.
