Garut Police Investigate the Discovery of a Marijuana Field in the Blok Wareng Garut Mountains

Garut - The Garut Police are investigating the discovery of land for marijuana cultivation in the mountainous area of Blok Wareng, Cigadog Village, Sucinaraja District, Garut Regency, West Java to find out who planted it.

"For the perpetrators of the land owners, and the planters are still in the investigation stage by members of the Garut Police Narcotics Unit," said Head of the Garut Police Narcotics Unit AKP Usep Sudirman as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, March 19.

The police received a report of suspected marijuana plants, then conducted a check on Wednesday (18/3) which turned out to have 11 stalks of suspected marijuana plants.

The officer, he said, when he arrived at the location immediately checked the plants and the condition of the surrounding environment. The plants have been growing for quite some time with a height of about 1 to 2 meters with an estimated planting age of three to four months.

"All the evidence in the form of suspected marijuana plants has been secured to the Garut Police to be examined and further developed," he said.
