Pelni Jakarta Ready to Depart 822 Passengers to Sulawesi and NTT
JAKARTA - PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia (Persero) Jakarta Branch is ready to send the KM Tidar ship with 822 passengers from Tanjung Priok Port, Jakarta, to South Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, and NTT on Thursday or H-2 Lebaran 2026.
The passengers of the KM Tidar were actually scheduled to depart at 11.00 WIB, but due to constraints, the departure was postponed to 17.00 WIB.
Head of the Pelni Jakarta Branch, Antonius Lumban Gaol, told ANTARA in Jakarta, Thursday, that his party served the Lebaran transportation using nine ships and 21 port of calls, with a total availability of 21,000 seats.
During the Lebaran period until March 18, 2026, the total passengers carried from Tanjung Priok Port reached 10,524 passengers.
The details, as many as 773 passengers boarded the KM Gunung Dempo on Friday (6/3/2026), and 2,117 passengers boarded the KM Kelud on Saturday (7/3/2026).
Then, as many as 1,119 passengers boarded the KM Ciremai on Monday (9/3/2026), and as many as 1,604 passengers boarded the KM Dobonsolo on Friday (13/3/2026).
Then, as many as 2,425 passengers boarded the KM Nggapulu on Saturday (14/3/2026), as many as 515 passengers boarded the KM Tidar on Monday (16/3/2026), and as many as 1,971 passengers boarded the KM Labobar on Wednesday (18/3/2026).
Pelni Jakarta Branch invites the public to take advantage of the discounts provided by the government during the homecoming and return flow of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah.
"There is a 30 percent discount from the basic tariff for departures from March 11 to April 5, 2026," said Antonius.
Based on the official PT Pelni ticket purchase page for the Lebaran homecoming this year, one economy class passenger ticket from Tanjung Priok Port to Ambon Port on Friday (20/3/2026) was priced at Rp580,900 from the normal price of Rp808,000.
Passengers will board the KM Labobar ship from Tanjung Priok Port by spending a travel time of four days and 15 hours to Ambon Port.
