Transjakarta prepares open-top buses to enjoy Eid holidays in the capital

JAKARTA - PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) provides recommendations for fleets that can be used by the public to enjoy the atmosphere of the capital city on Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah, one of which is an open-top bus.

Through the open-top bus, customers are invited to explore the historic area that became the foundation of the birth of Jakarta, while enjoying the city landscape from a different perspective.

"'Open Top Tour of Jakarta' Jakarta Batavia route is the result of collaboration with Sarinah," said Director of Business and Asset Utilization of PT Transjakarta, Fadly Hasan, as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, March 19.

He said that currently there is a new route "Jakarta Seaside" which was developed together with PIK Tourism which brings passengers to the modern coastal area.

"To show the new face of Jakarta as a global city with a flagship tourist destination," said Fadly.

In anticipation of the surge in mobility during Lebaran, Transjakarta added tourist bus service units on the BW 1: History of Jakarta, BW 2: Monas, BW 4: Pencakar Langit routes, as well as optimizing connectivity to favorite destinations such as TMII and the PIK area.

This service is part of the "Mudik to Jakarta" Program, as a follow-up to the direction of the Governor of DKI Jakarta PramonoAnungWibowo to present an inclusive and affordable alternative holiday for the community.

This program is an effort by the local government to ensure that the community can still enjoy the Lebaran holiday in quality without having to travel far, while also reviving Jakarta as an attractive urban tourist destination.

"Mudik to Jakarta" is designed as an integrated tourism experience based on public transportation that combines mobility, city exploration, to cultural experiences in one safe, comfortable and memorable trip.

Not only presenting a travel experience, this program is also designed to encourage economic circulation and strengthen the Jakarta tourism ecosystem.

Through TJStore, customers can get exclusive "merchandise" as well as collect "Open Top Tour of Jakarta Edition Stamp" which is available at TJStore Pos Bloc and TJStore Ratu Plaza.

"Lebaran is a moment of togetherness and we want customers to also enjoy Jakarta in a different way," he said.
