Flood Hampers Craftsmen Order Ahead of Eid

JAKARTA - A number of Lebaran hampers or parcels in Banda Aceh serve orders or orders of up to hundreds of packages ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah/2026.

"This year, there are hundreds of hampers or parcels for Lebaran ordered by customers ahead of Eid al-Fitr. Alhamdulillah, we were able to fulfill them all," said Nurul Mahara, a craftsman or maker of Lebaran hampers in Banda Aceh, Wednesday.

Lebaran hampers are packages such as parcels. Lebaran hampers that are produced contain eating utensils such as plates, glasses, and others. The contents of the Lebaran hamper are combined with various types of cakes.

"The hallmark of our Eid hampers is the cake and the set of good quality plates and cups. We have been making these Eid hampers since 2019. The cake making has been going on since 2003," he said.

Nurul Mahara said that the order for the Eid hamper was made long before Eid. The order was from banks, private companies, government agencies, and others.

"The demand for this year's sheet hamper has increased compared to the previous year. We still maintain quality, the goods in the hamper we make are the best quality," he said.

For ordering the Idulfitri 1447 Hijriah Eid hamper, he said, reached 500 packages. This number increased compared to the Eid booking last year which ranged from 300 to 400 packages.

"The price per package ranges from Rp. 200 thousand to Rp. 1 million. The price depends on the size of the package and the contents of the hamper. A week before the holiday, the hamper order is completed and delivered to the consumer," said Nurul.
