PDIP Legislator Soal Penyiraman Air Keras Aktivis KontraS: Konseptornya Harus Diungkap dan Dihukum

JAKARTA - The detention of four members of the TNI who allegedly sprayed hard water on KontraS activist Andrie Yunus was appreciated by Member of Commission I of the DPR, Major General (Ret.) TB Hasanuddin. But, the legal process must not stop at the executor alone.

This was conveyed by TB Hasanuddin after the TNI Puspom announced the arrest of four suspected perpetrators of hard water spraying, namely NDP, SL, BWH, and ES on Wednesday, March 18. The thorough investigation, he said, must be carried out because President Prabowo Subianto has issued an order.

"We refer to the Supreme Commander, President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, the perpetrators of the watering of Andrie must be arrested and processed according to applicable laws. The motive behind this action must also be revealed, including who gave the order. This case must be thoroughly investigated," said TB Hasanuddin through his written statement quoted Thursday, March 19.

TB Hasanuddin believes that the watering of hard water against Andrie was not just done by the four perpetrators. He believes that there is an order given as an intellectual actor.

"I believe this is not a self-initiative. It must be investigated whether there is an order from certain parties," he said.

The thorough investigation is also referred to as a form of fair law enforcement. "Don't let the soldiers who serve in the field become the sacrificed party, while the intellectual actors are not touched by the law," continued TB Hasanuddin.

The TNI Puspom previously named four soldiers as suspects in the watering of KontraS activist Andrie Yunus. They have the initials NDP, SL, BWH, and ES.

"This morning I received from Dantim BAIS TNI 4 people suspected of being suspects in the persecution of brother Andrie Yunus," said Danpuspom TNI Major General TNI Yusri Nuryanto at a press conference at the TNI Headquarters, Jakarta, Wednesday, March 18.

It is not yet known the motive for the spraying of hard water against Andri by the perpetrators. The examination continues for the four of them who are members of the Denma BAIS TNI with the navy (AL) and air force (AU) matra.

"The article imposed on the 4 suspected perpetrators, while we are applying Article 467 of the Criminal Code of Law Number 1 of 2023, there are verses 1, 2, where the threat of punishment is already stated there are 4 years, 7 years," explained Yusri.

Meanwhile, on the same day, the Polda Metro Jaya also announced the perpetrators of the water spraying against Andrie Yunus, namely BHC and MAK. These initials and numbers are different from those conveyed by the TNI Puspom version.

"Currently we suspect that we can inform the two people we showed earlier from one Polri Data, one initial BHC, two initials MAK. However, from the results of our investigation, we do not rule out the possibility that this perpetrator can be suspected of more than four," said Dirreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Iman Imannudin at Mapolda Metro Jaya, Jakarta, Wednesday, March 18.
