280 Thousand Train Passengers from Jakarta Use 30 Percent Discount Rate

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) Daop 1 Jakarta recorded around 280 thousand train passengers from Jakarta taking advantage of a 30 percent discount on fares for the period of 14-29 March 2026 during the 2026 Lebaran Transportation.

"Especially for Daop 1 Jakarta, there are 329 thousand seats in the commercial economy class. The remaining seats in the commercial economy class are 49 thousand seats," said PTKAI Regional Public Relations Manager (Daop) 1 Jakarta, Franoto Wibowo, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, March 19.

KAI Daop 1 Jakarta operates 68 regular long-distance train trips per day, 12 additional trains from Gambir Station, seven additional trains from Pasar Senen Station, and four free Motor Train trips.
