Sarinah Facilitates Free Homecoming, Equips Travelers with Insurance and Travel Assistance

JAKARTA - PT Sarinah presents various Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programs, including facilitating the community to return home for free with safer and more comfortable services. Participants are also equipped with insurance and travel assistance.

Through the Mudik Nyaman Bersama program which is part of the 2026 BUMN Free Homecoming, Sarinah sent 91 travelers to Yogyakarta and Surabaya.

The release was carried out on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, from two departure points, namely the Gelora Bung Karno area for the Yogyakarta destination, and the Thamrin Sarinah Building for the Surabaya destination.

PT Sarinah President Director, Raisha Syarfuan, said this program is a manifestation of the company's commitment to provide real benefits to the community, especially in the lead-up to Eid al-Fitr.

"Through the Mudik Nyaman Bersama program, Sarinah hopes to help people go on a homecoming trip more calmly and comfortably, so that the moment of gathering with family can be felt more meaningfully," said Raisha in an official statement, Wednesday, March 8.

Not only providing transportation, Sarinah also completes the journey of travelers with travel insurance, goodie bags, and other assistance to support comfort during the journey.

In addition to the homecoming program, Sarinah also expanded its social impact through the Ngabuburit Ceria activity at Pipilaka which was held at Sarinah Thamrin floor 5. This activity involved more than 200 students from SDN Kampung Bali 07 and SDN Kebon Sirih 04 Central Jakarta, by presenting educational and fun activities while waiting for the time to break the fast.

Sarinah also carried out the Bestie Share Bestie Care initiative, a fundraising movement that was distributed to the community around the company's operational area. More than 100 food packages have been distributed as a form of concern in the month of Ramadan.

Through this series of programs, Sarinah emphasized its commitment to continue to be closer to the community, not only as a retail and cultural center, but also as part of a social ecosystem that provides real benefits.
