Disnaker Says Many THR Complaints Received Through Social Media

Head of Industrial Relations and Social Security of the Makassar City Manpower Service (Disnaker), Reza Nugraha, said that his party had received a number of complaints regarding the Eid Al-Fitr Allowance (THR) and Eid Al-Fitr Bonus (BHR) through social media (medsos).

"Most people report and ask about THR through the Makassar Disnaker Instagram, and we have all answered complaints or a number of questions submitted," said Reza in Makassar, Wednesday.

Until now, the Makassar City Manpower Office has received three complaints, two of which were submitted through social media and the other one was reported directly to the THR/BHR coordination post (Posko).

Meanwhile, questions regarding the rights and obligations of employers and workers have also been conveyed through social media.

Reza said that from these questions, his party also carried out education regarding the rules for the provision of THR/BHR by employers or companies.

"There are dozens of questions from the public through our Instagram, and then we direct them to the office to be reviewed directly if it sounds like a complaint. But most of them just ask about the rules," said Reza.

The Makassar City Manpower and Transmigration Office also confirmed that it had resolved one of the complaints from the public after monitoring and mediation between the company and the workers, without revealing the identity of the reporter.

"So we have educated and also conveyed that there are sanctions if it is not implemented. Alhamdulillah it is over and the workers' THR has also been paid from the receipt by the workers and of course the identity of the reporter is hidden," said Reza.

In addition to the Makassar City Manpower and Transmigration Office (Disnaker), the South Sulawesi Provincial Manpower and Transmigration Office (Disnakertrans) has also received two THR/BHR complaints from Parepare Regency and Makassar City.

"There are two complaints that came in via WhatsApp and we are conducting surveillance," said Head of the Sulsel Jayadi Nas Provincial Manpower and Transmigration Office.
