Good News, Sanitation Workers in Central Lombok Can Get THR
Hundreds of sanitation officers from the Central Lombok Regency Environment Service, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province were given a subsidy of Rp300 thousand per person as a form of Eid al-Fitr (THR) allowance for 1447 Hijriah.
"Cleaning officers have a very important and noble role in maintaining the cleanliness and beauty of Central Lombok," said Deputy Regent of Central Lombok HM Nursiah when handing over the assistance to cleaning officers in Central Lombok, Wednesday.
He said the handover was expected to help sanitation workers meet basic needs ahead of Eid al-Fitr.
In addition, this activity is a form of concern and appreciation for the sanitation officers who have worked hard to maintain the cleanliness and beauty of the environment, especially in the Central Lombok area.
Therefore, the THR given was in the form of cash assistance of Rp. 300 thousand and rice of 5 kilograms each as a form of concern and support for officers who have played an important role in maintaining the cleanliness of the Central Lombok Regency.
"They still carry out their duties well, so that the cleanliness of Central Lombok is maintained," he said.
Through this assistance, it is hoped that it will provide encouragement and motivation for officers in carrying out their noble duties, as well as a reminder to everyone about the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness.
"Hopefully this small step will bring great benefits and become a field of good deeds for everyone," he said.
He expressed his appreciation to the Central Lombok National Zakat Agency (Basnaz) which continues to be committed to distributing zakat to people in need, including sanitation workers who take care of cleanliness every morning in Central Lombok.
"Without them, the face of Central Lombok would certainly be dirty, but thanks to their perseverance, tenacity, discipline and sense of responsibility for their duties and the region, they work sincerely to maintain the cleanliness of Central Lombok," he said.
"Hopefully, what the sanitation officers have done will be recorded as a legacy," he said.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Chairman of the Central Lombok Baznas, TGH Lalu Mala Sari, said that this compensation activity was a program that had been carried out for the third time, especially ahead of Eid al-Fitr.
"This program is sourced from zakat collected from the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in the environment of the Central Lombok Regency Government," he said.
He said the assistance provided was not much, but it was hoped that it could ease the burden of needs ahead of Eid al-Fitr 2026.
"Hopefully this assistance can be useful for them," he said.
