Ahead of Eid al-Fitr, the Bulungan Police Chief distributed 38 parcels for Pers People
TANJUNG SELOR - Ahead of Eid al-Fitr 2026, the North Kalimantan (Kaltara) City Police Resort (Polresta Bulungan) shared happiness with the press in Bulungan Regency. A total of 38 parcel parcels were distributed to journalists who have been partners of the police in delivering information to the public, Tuesday (17/3/2026).
The activity which took place was simple but full of warmth, which was a form of appreciation from the Bulungan Police for the strategic role of the media in maintaining a healthy flow of information in the community.
The head of the Bulungan Police, Kombes Pol Rofikoh Yunianto, S.I.K. through the Head of the Sub-Directorate of Public Information and Public Relations of the Bulungan Police, Aipda Hadi Purnomo, said that the relationship between the police and the press has been well established and mutually supportive. "So far, media colleagues have been strategic partners of the National Police, especially the Bulungan Police, in delivering information that is educational, accurate, and balanced to the public," said Aipda Hadi.
Hadi revealed that in the midst of the rapid flow of information and the proliferation of news that is not necessarily true, the role of the media is very important to help counteract hoaxes while maintaining public confidence in the information circulating.
"This parcel distribution is a form of attention and an effort to strengthen the relationship between the police and the press," said Hadi.
"Through this momentum, we want to share happiness and strengthen the emotional relationship between the National Police and media colleagues. We realize that maintaining security and order cannot be done alone, but requires collaboration from all parties, including the media as a connector of information to the public," he continued.
In addition, Polresta Bulungan hopes that the synergy that has been built can continue to be improved, especially ahead of Eid al-Fitr when the public needs information that is soothing and calming.
"We hope that this synergy will be more solid. Let's work together to keep the Bulungan situation safe, peaceful, and conducive ahead of Eid al-Fitr. The role of the media is very large in creating a cool atmosphere through positive and constructive reporting," he concluded.
