Polri's Super App to be Released Soon, People Can Make Police Reports Online

JAKARTA - The Indonesian National Police (Polri) plans to launch an online police report service feature through the Super App application. This feature is targeted to be released after Lebaran 2026.

The Officer for Administrative and Administrative Affairs (Paur Mintu) of the Integrated Police Service Center (SPKT) of the Metro Jaya Police, Ipda Sudjatmiko, said the service would include two types of reports, namely reports of loss and reports of criminal offenses.

"This online report includes missing reports and reports related to criminal offenses," said Sudjatmiko during a socialization at the Metro Jaya Police, Tuesday, March 17, 2026.

However, not all missing reports can be processed completely online. In some cases, said Sudjatmiko, the reporter is still required to come directly to the police station.

"There are certain reports that still require the reporter to come to the police station, such as the loss of certificates and BPKB," he explained.

In the process of reporting loss, the public is also asked to attach supporting documents. For example, for a report of lost KTP, the reporter can include a photo of the Family Card (KK).

However, if the uploaded documents are unclear or do not meet the requirements, the report will be rejected temporarily until it is completed again.

"If the uploaded documents are unclear or not in accordance with the requirements, we will reject them and ask them to be corrected," he said.

Meanwhile, for reports of criminal offenses, the online service will also be equipped with counseling features. This feature serves to help the public determine whether the reported event is a criminal offense or not.

"Later there will be counselors who will conduct an initial assessment through communication on the application. This counseling is also done online," he said.

After going through the verification process by the counselor and being declared eligible, the report will be processed further according to the applicable mechanism. Even if it is submitted online, the follow-up process such as being summoned by the investigator can still be carried out.

The National Police ensures that this service can be accessed for free. The presence of this feature is expected to be able to reduce time and costs, as well as increase transparency in the reporting process.

"For the launch, we are still waiting for the official release from the National Police Headquarters," he concluded.
