PEKANBARU - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo inaugurated the Precision Red and White Bridge in Riau province today. This program is said to increase access to the community, especially in areas with geographical constraints.

"I also received reports in several other areas, a total of approximately 411 bridges have been built and (the police, ed) Riau is the most," said Sigit as quoted from a written statement, Tuesday, March 17.

The National Police Chief said the construction of the bridge was a response to the needs of the community, especially for children who had to face the risk of crossing the river or traveling long distances.

A total of 110 bridges were built. Of these, 27 bridges have been completed and inaugurated while the other 83 are still in the process of being built.
