Lenovo Legion Gaming Phones With Unusual Camera Modules

JAKARTA - Lenovo has begun displaying a number of promotional materials for its gaming phones. Interestingly, this gaming phone called Lenovo Legion has a unique pop-up camera configuration.

The leaked promotional material was uploaded for the first time on the XDA Developer forum. There seems to be a slight change from the cellphone design that was rumored some time ago.

The most visible changes in the camera module configuration. Because, this time Lenovo Legion has embedded a pop-up camera module on the side of its cellphone.

This design is clearly different from most smartphones. Usually, the rear and front cameras are placed at the top of the smartphone. This display will clearly change the interface of the smartphone to be held horizontally.

Despite the changes in the camera module design, the Lenovo Legion still carries high-quality specifications for a gaming phone. It is said that the Lenovo Legion kitchen will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset, with FS 3.0 internal storage and LPDDR5 RAM.

The screen is said to have a resolution of 2340 x 1080 with a refresh rate of 144Hz. It is claimed, this phone will run Android 10 with Lenovo's ZUI 12 customization, which Lenovo will likely market as a Legion OS for this device.

To support its activities, Lenovo Legion supports 90W fast charging features, and is claimed to be able to fully charge up to 100 percent in just 30 minutes. And supported by a dual-cell battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh.

With the placement of the camera module on the side body, allowing Lenovo Legion to embed dual speakers measuring 65mm and 0.6mm amp. Both speakers are located on the top and bottom bazel of the cellphone.

While about the port there are two USB-Cs (1 below and 1 on the side), a SIM card tray, speakers on the top and bottom bezels and a microphone hole on the top of the cellphone.

Lenovo has embedded a 20MP selfie camera in its pop-up camera module. Apart from that there is also a dual camera configuration on the back, which includes 64MP and 16MP wide angle.

Since the end of December 2019, Lenovo has been teasing its fans by launching a gaming smartphone product. Through the Chinese social media platform Weibo, Lenovo announced the "Legion Gaming Phone" series.
