New Vespa Primavera and Sprint Launched with 180 Cc Engine, Here's the Price

JAKARTA - Vespa has once again reaffirmed its position as a symbol of urban lifestyle through the refreshing of the Primavera and Sprint lines. These two legendary models are now equipped with the latest 180cc engine that is more powerful.

This latest generation 180cc engine brings many developments, where about 14 percent of its main components are redesigned, including the engine core and transmission system. The result is an increasingly optimal combination of performance, efficiency, and driving comfort.

"Through the latest Vespa Primavera and Vespa Sprint 180, we present stronger performance, modern features, and color options that reflect their lifestyles," said Managing Director and Country CEO of PT Piaggio Indonesia Marco Noto La Diega, in an official statement, Tuesday, March 17.

In terms of performance, the generated power increases by 24 percent to 11 kW at 8,250 rpm. Acceleration also feels more spontaneous and responsive. Meanwhile, the torque increases by about 8 percent, providing a stronger power boost in various road conditions.

This performance is further enhanced by the latest CVT system which is able to provide a smoother throttle response without sacrificing fuel efficiency. Not only in terms of performance, Vespa also equips the latest Primavera and Sprint with digital technology that is increasingly relevant to the needs of today's riders.

All models now carry a Full Color LCD Dashboard with a modern and informative display. Especially the Sprint Tech variant, a more premium and feature-rich Full Color TFT screen is embedded.

The keyless system feature is now available on the Primavera S, Sprint S, and Sprint Tech variants, providing convenience while increasing security. In addition, all lines have supported MIA Connectivity, allowing riders to connect their smartphones to access calls, messages, music, and navigation practically.

Primavera still maintains its classic aura with an elegant touch, while Sprint appears more aggressive and sporty with a strong modern feel. Each model gets a design refresh, improved functional features, and a wider range of colors.

Several updates can be seen on the fresher front design, new rims, and the front bag hook which is now more practical to use. Primavera is also equipped with new mudguards and mirrors, while the S and Sprint variants have additional thermal protection. Especially Sprint, there is an update on the side grid which strengthens the sporty impression.

On the Primavera line, there are Beige Avvolgente, Green Amabile, and White Innocente color options combined with elegant chrome accents. The design is fresher with a new round mirror and a typical Primavera mudguard crest. Meanwhile, the Primavera S is more expressive with Yellow Disivolto, Blue Capri, and White Innocente colors, equipped with seats with improved materials and thermal protection features.

For the Sprint, the standard variant is offered in White Innocente and Red Scarlatto colors with a bold appearance wrapped in chrome finishing. Various updates such as front tie, new wheels, to front bag hooks improve its functionality. The Sprint S looks bolder with the choice of Black Convinto, Grey Essenziale, and Grey Intrepido colors, complete with a sporty seat design and details that strengthen the aggressive character.

Meanwhile, the Sprint Tech is the most futuristic variant with a striking Grey Travolgente color and fluo-green accents. This model is equipped with features such as dual ABS, ambient lighting, and a design display that emphasizes a high-tech and premium impression.

In addition to presenting products, Vespa also strengthens the lifestyle of its users through the Vespa Dealer Equipment Collection (DEC). This apparel collection includes various items such as windbreakers, hoodies, T-shirts, polo shirts, hats, and tumblers designed to complement the typical style of Vespa riders.
