KPK Issues Circular Prohibiting Use of Government Vehicle Facilities for Eid

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) reminded state organizers not to use official cars to go home to their hometowns ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah.

KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo said this ban was regulated through Circular Letter (SE) Number 2 of 2026 concerning the Control and Prevention of Holiday Gratification. State-owned goods (BMN), Regional-owned goods (BMD), and vehicles rented for ministry/agency/regional government operations are prohibited from being used for personal gain.

"The KPK reminds that using state facilities for personal interests is a form of conflict of interest that damages the principle of accountability," said Budi through his written statement quoted on Tuesday, March 17.

"This ban is very important, considering that government vehicles are state facilities provided to support the implementation of duties and public services," he continued.

Budi also reminded the heads of ministries/institutions, regional governments, SOEs/BUMD and other state institutions to take proactive steps to follow up on the KPK circular. "Including overseeing the use of official facilities during the holiday period," he said.

The public can also complain or report gratification and corruption prevention. Some of them can be accessed through the link https://jaga.id, consultation through Whatsapp number +62811145575 or contact the KPK Public Information Service at the phone number 198.

Meanwhile, for the acceptance/rejection of gratification, Budi continued, it can be conveyed through several steps. Among them, through the online gratification reporting application (GOL) at the link https://gol.kpk.go.id or email pelaporan.gratifikasi@kpk.go.id.
