Someone's Positive For COVID-19, Mission: Impossible 7 Filming Has Been Stopped

JAKARTA - Production of the film Mission: Impossible 7 was again stopped after a crew member was diagnosed positive for COVID-19.

According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, production of the film is underway in the UK where when the tests were carried out, there were those who got positive results.

"We have temporarily suspended production of Mission: Impossible June 7 to 14 due to a positive test result for the coronavirus while routine testing was underway," Paramount and Skydance said in a statement.

They are trying to follow health protocols and continue to monitor this difficult situation.

Production of Mission: Impossible 7 had a difficult time during production amid the pandemic. First, they had to stop filming plans in February 2020 because the pandemic began to spread.

When it resumed in October, production was again halted after 12 production staff in Italy tested positive for COVID-19. Last December, actor Tom Cruise also shocked the public when he was known to scold the crew for not following health protocols.

The film is directed by Christopher McQuarrie who directed Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation and Fallout. In addition to Cruise, this film is also acted by Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg and Rebecca Ferguson. Vanessa Kirby, Essai Morales, Hayley Atwell, and many others.
