Wow, Donnie Yen Joins Keanu Reeves In John Wick 4

JAKARTA - Actor Donnie Yen is rumored to be one of the players for the film John Wick 4 following Keanu Reeves.

Quoting Deadline today, Friday, June 4, Yen will play John Wick's old friend who has a story and many enemies.

Donnie Yen is an actor from China who has spread his wings in international cinema. Starting from xXx: Return of Xander Cage, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and IP Man.

His ability to perform martial arts has also made him one of the highest-paid actors in Asia.

“We are very lucky to have Donnie Yen join the franchise. I can't wait to work with him for such an exciting role," said director Chad Stahelski.

The John Wick film franchise tells the story of a hitman with the same name taking revenge on the people who interfered with his life.

John Wick 4 is directed by Stahelski and written by Shay Hatten and Michael Finch. Besides Yen, singer Rina Sawayama also joined for this film.

Production of the John Wick 4 will begin this summer in France, Germany and Japan.
