Jasa Marga Applies 30 Percent Discount on Trans Java Toll Rates during the Eid al-Fitr Holiday Moment

JAKARTA - PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) has imposed a 30 percent toll rate discount on the Trans Java Toll Road in order to welcome Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah as well as a form of support for the government's efforts to improve the smoothness of community mobility.

"This policy is part of the support of the Jasa Marga Group to increase the smoothness of community mobility during the Lebaran period while providing direct benefits for road users through savings on travel costs," said Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal PT JTT Ria Marlinda Paallo in Bekasi, quoted by Antara, Monday, March 16.

He said this toll rate reduction program was implemented during the period of homecoming and return traffic to encourage a more even distribution of traffic and reduce the potential for congestion at the peak of travel traffic.

"The 30 percent toll rate reduction has been implemented starting from March 15, 2026 at 00.00 WIB until March 16, 2026 at 24.00 WIB for all vehicle groups who travel continuously using electronic money and ensure that the balance is sufficient," he said.

Ria explained that this toll rate reduction was given to road users who traveled from Jakarta via the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate (GT), the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road to Semarang and exit at the Kalikangkung Toll Gate, the Batang-Semarang Toll Road.

Meanwhile, during the reverse flow period, the toll rate reduction will be re-applied for road users who travel from Semarang via GT Kalikangkung to Jakarta and exit at GT Cikampek Utama.

"The toll rate reduction for the return period is enforced on March 26, 2026 at 00.00 WIB until March 27, 2026 at 24.00 WIB," he said.

Ria added that the Batang-Semarang route, which is managed by PT Jasamarga Semarang Batang (JSB), road users who travel continuously also receive additional tariff reductions so that the total toll tariff reduction received can reach around 46 percent.

JSB has also imposed a 23 percent toll rate reduction for all transactions on the Batang-Semarang Route, which is valid from March 12 to March 31, 2026, to ensure that the discount benefits can be felt by road users in the Trans Java main corridor.

"Especially on the route which is one of the main arteries of community mobility during the Lebaran period," he said.

Ria continued that this policy not only provides economic stimulus for the community, but also becomes part of the traffic management strategy in the face of a surge in mobility during the Idulfitri period.

With the tariff reduction in certain periods, it is hoped that the public can be more flexible in determining the time of travel so that vehicle movement is not concentrated at a certain time.

"We hope that people will plan their trips better, make use of travel time outside the peak period of homecoming and return so that traffic distribution is more even. Thus, travel on the Trans Java Toll Road remains smooth, safe and comfortable for all road users," he said.

His party appealed to all Trans Java toll road users to continue to prioritize safety and plan their trip well before entering the toll road, especially during periods with the potential for a surge in vehicle volume.

Road users are asked to ensure that the condition of vehicles and drivers are in good condition, ensure the adequacy of fuel and electronic money balances and comply with traffic signs and instructions from officers in the field.
