Hutama Karya applies a 30 percent discount on the toll rate on a number of toll roads in Riau

JAKARTA - PT Hutama Karya provides a 30 percent discount or discount on toll rates on a number of Trans Sumatra Toll Roads (JTTS), including two sections in the Riau region, namely the Pekanbaru-Dumai Toll Road and the Pekanbaru-XIII Koto Kampar Toll Road.

Acting Executive Vice President of Corporate Secretary of PT Hutama Karya Hamdani said that the tariff reduction policy was implemented simultaneously on several JTTS sections managed by the company. The tariff reduction was implemented in two periods, namely on March 15-16, 2026 and March 26-27, 2026, with a two-way system.

"This tariff reduction is given for all vehicle categories and implemented with a mechanism that is in line with national policies, as is also applied to other toll road business entities," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, March 15.

For the Pekanbaru-Dumai toll road section, the travel tariff from Pekanbaru to Dumai and vice versa for Group I vehicles will decrease from Rp. 171,500 to Rp. 120,000.

Meanwhile, Group II and III from Rp257,000 to Rp180,000, and Group IV and V from Rp343,000 to Rp240,000.

Meanwhile, on the Pekanbaru-XIII Koto Kampar Toll Road for the Pinang River trip to XIII Koto Kampar and vice versa, the I-class tariff has decreased from Rp. 78,000 to Rp. 54,500.

Meanwhile, Group II and III from Rp117,000 to Rp82,000, and Group IV and V from Rp156,000 to Rp109,000.

He said the discount was part of an effort to support the smooth flow of homecoming and help ease people's travel costs.

The policy applies to road users who travel continuously and use electronic money cards with sufficient balance.

Overall, according to him, there are six JTTS sections that have received tariff cuts, namely the Terbanggi Besar-Pematang Panggang-Kayu Agung Toll Road, the Indralaya-Prabumulih Toll Road, the Pekanbaru-Dumai Toll Road, the Pekanbaru-XIII Koto Kampar Toll Road, the Indrapura-Kisaran Toll Road, and the Sigli-Banda Aceh Toll Road.

In addition, the tariff reduction also applies to the Kuala Tanjung-Tebing Tinggi-Parapat toll road managed by Hutama Karya's subsidiary.

"Hutama Karya appeals to toll road users to ensure that the balance of the electronic money card is sufficient before entering the toll gate, and to check the tariff according to the entrance gate and the destination of the trip," he said.
