Kasiop Sudin Gulkarmat North Jakarta and Thousand Islands, Gatot Sulaeman said, the ship is a Kronjo type and is led by a man with the initials E (47) who carries 13 passengers.
"After receiving the report, we evacuated the ship's object. Thank God, 13 people were successfully evacuated and they were safe," Gatot said when confirmed by VOI.
The evacuation process lasted about 90 minutes. The evacuation process uses a boat belonging to the DKI Jakarta Gulkarmat Service with a total of 6 rescue personnel.
"The evacuation of the ship was carried out because of a problem with the gearbox system which was damaged, so it interfered with the performance of the main engine and caused the ship to be unable to operate normally," said Gatot.
In addition, the evacuation process was carried out to prevent the risk of more serious damage and maintain the safety of the ship's operations.
"The ship was then evacuated to a safe location for further inspection and repair," he said.
All passengers and crew members were safely evacuated in accordance with the applicable safety procedures, without any reports of casualties or injuries.
"Currently, the evacuation process has been completed by the damkar team in a safe and controlled manner," he said.
