PTP Nonpetikemas ensures that the unloading of ships remains normal during the Lebaran homecoming season.

JAKARTA - PT Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok (PTP Nonpetikemas) ensures that all ship loading and unloading activities remain normal during the Ramadan to Lebaran 2026 period.

This step is carried out to maintain the smooth flow of goods and support the continuity of the national logistics chain to be maintained in the midst of increasing community mobility during the homecoming season.

As part of the Pelindo Group, PTP Nonpetikemas has a strategic role in supporting national logistics distribution, especially in the loading and unloading services of liquid bulk cargo, dry bulk cargo, and general cargo in various operational areas of the company.

Commercial and Business Development Director and Acting Director of Nonpetikemas PTP Operations, Dwi Rahmad Toto S, said that all port activities continued to operate normally during the Ramadan to Lebaran period.

"We ensure that all port activities in the Nonpetikemas PTP working area continue to run optimally 24/7 during the Ramadhan to Lebaran period. Loading and unloading operations continue to take place to maintain the smooth flow of goods and ensure that national logistics distribution is maintained," said Toto in an official statement, Sunday, March 15.

To support the smooth operation, PTP Nonpetikemas has prepared human resources, operational equipment, and service support systems at all branches operating in 11 ports in Indonesia. Operational work systems are also implemented 24 hours a day to ensure that loading and unloading, receiving, and delivery activities run safely, smoothly, and according to service standards.

During the Lebaran period, logistics distribution activities are expected to increase, especially ahead of the traffic arrangement for goods transportation and after the Lebaran return flow ends.

Therefore, PTP Nonpetikemas also strengthens coordination with various stakeholders, including port authorities, security forces, and working partners to anticipate the potential increase in operational activities.

PTP Nonpetikemas Banten Branch and Panjang Branch also play a role in supporting the smooth flow of homecoming and logistics distribution during the Lebaran period. In the Banten Branch, which operates at the Ciwandan Port, the port facility has been operated as an alternative route for motorcycle and logistics truck crossings to Sumatra since March 11, 2026.

Infrastructure support in the form of three Ro-Ro ship docks and a vehicle buffer area is prepared to help relieve congestion at Merak Port while ensuring vehicle mobility and logistics distribution continue to run smoothly.

Meanwhile, the PTP Nonpetikemas Panjang Branch in Lampung also plays an important role in supporting the smooth flow of logistics to the Sumatra region. Panjang Port is prepared as an alternative route for receiving motorcyclists from Jakarta and continues to carry out its main function in serving the distribution of various strategic commodities.

With the support of docks, accumulation fields, and operational facilities that operate 24 hours, this branch also ensures the smooth flow of goods and supports community mobility during the Lebaran homecoming period.

Referring to the Decree of the Directorate General of Land Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation Number AJ.201/2/5/DJPD/2026, operational restrictions on freight transportation will be implemented from March 13-29, 2026.

The policy aims to prioritize the distribution of important logistics such as fuel oil or gas, livestock, fertilizer, assistance for victims of natural disasters, and other basic commodities.

Meanwhile, Senior Manager of Corporate Secretary of PTP Nonpetikemas, Fiona Sari Utami added that the company also places the aspects of occupational safety and health (K3) and compliance with operational procedures as the main priority in every service activity.

"The smooth operation of the port cannot be achieved without strong coordination with all stakeholders. Therefore, we continue to strengthen synergy with various stakeholders so that traffic arrangements and port activities can run optimally during the Lebaran period," said Fiona.

Through these various steps, PTP Nonpetikemas hopes to continue to provide the best services while becoming a trusted partner for service users to support the smooth distribution of national logistics during the Lebaran homecoming season.
